Terms of Service

The service

recordstore.tech synchronizes inventory, prices and orders between a Discogs seller account and a Shopify store you control. By connecting either platform you confirm you are authorized to operate that account and instruct us to read and write on your behalf as configured in your settings.

Plans and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, and are capped by the number of items you select to keep in sync.
• Plan changes take effect immediately and are prorated by Stripe. On a downgrade or cancellation, your synced selection is trimmed to the new plan’s limit; nothing is deleted on either platform.
• You can cancel any time from the billing portal. Fees already incurred are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

Your responsibilities

The service modifies real listings, products and orders according to your settings (selection, filters, markup, draft behaviour). Review those settings and the sync preview before enabling automatic sync, and keep your use within Shopify’s and Discogs’ own terms of service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the inventory data you sync.

Acceptable use

Don’t abuse the service: no attempts to disrupt it, access other tenants’ data, or use it to violate the platforms’ rules. We may suspend accounts that do.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Syncing depends on third-party APIs (Shopify, Discogs) that can change or fail outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not affiliated with Discogs or Shopify.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time by disconnecting your platforms or uninstalling the app; stored platform credentials are deleted immediately (see the Privacy Policy). We may terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the changelog with the date above. Questions go through the Feedback form in the app footer.
